IIIIIIIII don’t want to work…I just want to listen to The Workshy at Hodi’s Half Note on this #TaperTuesday!
When the lineup STARTS with The Workshy, you know you’re in for a fantastic evening. While their set was short, it still provided a powerful punch to get things going for an evening of music. From the epic prog rock journey that was the set opening “Astray”, the dark carnival like nature of “DNC (Do Not Call” and the lighthearted story of “Harrison Wine”, The Workshy show a versatility that spans genres while keeping a sound very much their own. The psychedelic jam in “Blueprints” shows off the bands ability to lock-in a groove and communicate effectively and happens to be my personal highlight. Great set from one of my favorite band’s in Denver!
