Give them something to talk about on #TaperTuesday with some #FreeMusic from TAUK headlining The Ogden Theatre!

The Ogden Theatre was definitely the place to be last Saturday night as TAUK put on two powerful sets showcasing their brand of psychedelic jazz-rock fusion. Their expansive sound was on full display as the band tore through originals from their entire repertoire including their newly released EP “Shapeshifter I: Construct”. The band never let off the accelerator as they charged through both sets with fiercely purposeful playing that kept the entire room thoroughly engaged throughout the evening. The band also invited hometown favorites Nick Gerlach (Turbosuit) and Gabe Mervine (The Motet) to lend their horn talents to a few tunes, expanding the already eclectic sound even further. We also saw an appearance from Lettuce drummer Adam Deitch who took over drumming duties for Isaac Teel so he could flex his vocal chords a bit for the Lionel Richie classic “All Night Long”. The entire show was as constant party and a solid reminder to never miss Tauk when they’re in town.
