Are you feeling lonesome this #TaperTuesday? The cure just might be some #FreeMusic from The Lonesome Days at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom(Other Side)!
The Lonesome Days sing about the things that make bluegrass great…drinking and loneliness. With a solid mix of bluegrass classics and cuts from their debut self-tiled record, the band played a super polished set to start off the venue’s weekly bluegrass night. Rich vocals, tight picking, songs about Whiskey…what’s not to love? “Chasing Down The Whiskey” was my personal favorite but there were other great highlights including the solid instrumental “Dixie Hoedown” which showed off each member’s prowess on the strings as well as a great take on the Bill Monroe classic “Live and Let Live”.
