Its #MusicMonday and I bring you…the Wheel Of Phish – Phour Point O headlining their weekly residency at Be On Key Psychedelic Ripple!
Some big time jams in this one including some new tunes I’d never seen performed before such as a 15 minute “Carini” , a jammed out “Possum”, the massively zany 25 minute “You Enjoy Myself” to start the second set followed by a 17 minute “Harry Hood”, the band was loose and ready to throw-down. If you’re a fan of the oft-forgotten Weird Al movie “UHF” you’ll get a kick out of the second set which features a plethora of quotes from the movie, most prominently in the “You Enjoy Myself” vocal jam. Fun set, heavy on the jams and jokes, which honestly is just as important in keeping the vibe of Phish as anything else. Another great show from Denver’s best and most Ben Rafferty Phish tribute act.

Show Notes: This show was a part of the band’s weekly Thursday night residency at Be On Key Psychedelic Ripple. Flash Mountain Flood opened the show.The show doubled as a fundraiser for Brian Gagnon. A print signed by all the members of Phish was donated by The Waterwheel Foundation and raffled off at the end of the show with all proceeds going to Brian’s medical expenses.
